Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Summerville, SC. About the Practice :

The practice has been providing women in the Summerville and Charleston metro area with outstanding ob­stet­ri­cal and gynecological care for 30 years. Currently, the practice has a team of 3 OB / GYN physicians along with a great support staff. The practice performs deliveries and GYN surgeries at Summerville Medical Center. Summerville Medical Center provided the practice with a Level III NICU, women’s health subspecialist physicians, hospitalist support, and the da Vinci robotic system for certain GYN procedures. This is a great opportunity to join an established practice that allows for excellent career growth and a strong work / life balance. In addition, the practice has top notch experienced physicians that can provide solid mentorship to a newly graduating resident physician or an experienced physician who is entering private practice for the first time. Ideally, the practice is looking for a candidate that wants to stay and grow with the practice long-term.

Practice Highlights :

• Solid group of 3 physicians with a nurse practitioner and physician assistant.
• The practice has an excellent reputation in the community and has built up a strong patient base over 30 years.
• 2 office locations conveniently located in Summerville with the main location across the street from Summerville Medical Center.
• Summerville Medical Center has a Level 3 NICU, subspecialists, and hospitalist support for the practice.
• Daily clinic patient census : 25-30 daily.
• 1 in 7 call schedule. Call is taken with the hospitalist group.
• Hospitalist delivers on the evenings and weekends
• Practice physicians will perform about 15 deliveries per month.
• 3 weeks of vacation and 1 week of CME time paid for.
• Excellent mentorship opportunities for a physician entering private practice.
• Competitive salary and benefits package including 20 days of vacation to start.
• $30K sign on bonus and $30K retention bonus along with relocation assistance.
• Potential for partnership in the practice after 2 years.
