Job descriptionAccessing and entering data on organization wide software such as timekeeping system and hospital email. Accessing and using internet and specific applications required to perform job duties. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification at or within 90 days of hire. NVCI / CPI Training (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) initial certification within six (6) months of hire, refresher completed annually. IV Competency completion within 6 months of hire. Three (3) years of LPN experience in an acute care hospital. Summary
Under the direction of the department leadership provides nursing care for assigned patients. Performs care, treatments, and procedures within scope of practice and established guidelines and provides a safe and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for healthcare providers.
- Basic computer skills for :
Accessing and navigating CTRH intranet for forms, policies, and procedures.
