Job Summary

The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automation and control systems to support efficient, safe, and sustainable operations in minerals processing. This role integrates advanced technologies—including PLC systems, data analytics, and AI platforms—to enhance process reliability, enable predictive maintenance, and drive real-time optimization. The Controls Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to advance innovation while ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable relevant on the job experience and / or certifications.
• 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing control systems preferably in the mining or oilfield service sectors.
