As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits and conducting routine patrols. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service by interacting with employees, visitors, and / or delivery personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to support the overall operations at the logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, escalating when necessary according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel. Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
