Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct extensive case research to identify legal issues and build strong, persuasive cases.

2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in real estate litigation.

3. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes, including real estate litigation, in the best interest of the client.

4 Review laws and regulations to ensure the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to commercial real estate transactions and litigation.

5. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.

Qualifications :

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admitted to practice and in good standing with NY state bar.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate law.

4. Strong research skills with the ability to handle large amounts of data.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
