Job Overview :

The Certified Pharmacy Technician must be registered by the State of Florida and meet the minimum state requirements as indicated by Florida Statute 465.014. In addition, the pharmacy technician must be nationally certified through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, they assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department and any other duties as assigned

General Responsibilities :

Communication and interpersonal skills, b asic computer skills, and customer service skills required.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent PLUS State certification.

Pharmacy technician program with certification; experience preferred.

Experience preferred or will train if applicant is conscientious and communicates a desire to learn.

Registered by State of Florida and certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board OR Current Pharmacy Intern License State of Florida.
