Our client is expanding its Austin team and seeking mid- to senior-level (PE) talent across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering. Your Impact
As a Senior MEP Engineer, you will lead building system designs across your area of expertise, whether mechanical, electrical, or plumbing, while collaborating closely with other disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performing facilities. You will take ownership of projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a culture that values precision, innovation, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and documentation process for building systems within your discipline (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing) from concept through completion.
- Develop technical designs for HVAC, power, lighting, water, waste, or related building systems depending on your area of focus.
- Partner with engineers across other disciplines to create fully integrated, coordinated designs.
- Review work for accuracy, code compliance, and quality of deliverables.
- Support project schedules and budgets through effective coordination and communication with project managers and clients.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Remain hands-on in Revit and AutoCAD to support active design and documentation work.
Qualifications
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to transfer to Texas (highly preferred).Six or more years of engineering experience in building systems design, preferably within an MEP firm.Experience in healthcare, schools, hospitality, and commercial projects is highly preferred.Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with recent, hands-on design experience.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams to produce cohesive, integrated designs.Strong communication skills and the ability to work fully on-site in Austin, TX.Compensation And Perks
