Emergency Department

3 Night shifts per week 7p-7a

Patient Population :  All ages, acuities, and stages of life. Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care / fast track with lower acuity / clinic type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

Patient Ratios :  4 : 1

Number of Beds :  55

Department Specifics : Currently seeking Lever three Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care / fast track with lower acuity / clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.
