The Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers;
preparing and analyzing budgets; and performing general bookkeeping. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a passion for precision
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare journal entries, including reconciliations of bank statements.
- Support the implementation of financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing essential information and ensuring all financial reports are up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist in the development of recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the CFO and Senior Accountant with special projects as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance the financial operations of the company.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
Education :
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Two to Three years of experience at a Staff Accountant capacity and must have a demonstrated history of performing the responsibilities listed above.
- A strong background in Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- CPA is a Plus
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must have people and communication skills.
Experience :
- 2 years of Accounting experience
- 5 years of Accounting experience.
