Part-Time Custodian

Join our team and help keep our Recreation Center a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone in the community! As a Custodian, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day operations, taking pride in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and ready for all activities. Your work will include cleaning and maintaining floors, restrooms, and common areas, setting up and taking down equipment for programs and events, opening and closing facilities (including locking and securing buildings), performing light repairs, and completing small work-related maintenance projects independently. You'll operate a variety of tools and equipment, both indoors and outdoors, and will also drive to and from various City facilities to complete assigned tasks. Every day, your efforts will directly contribute to creating an enjoyable and safe experience for our visitors.

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who cares about doing the job right and take pride in their work. This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, use cleaning and maintenance equipment safely, and work flexible hoursincluding evenings, weekends, and occasional emergency call-backs. A valid California driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
