• 8-9 hour shifts, 5-10 shifts per month typically, preference for evening and weekend shifts
• 16-24 patients per shift, average 2.2 patients per hour
• Central line placement, lumbar puncture, moderate sedation, chest tubes required
• Holiday coverage needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
