Test Engineer (UX / user-based testing)

Role : Test Engineer (UX & user-based testing) Location : Austin (Round Rock), TX Key Responsibilities : Execute user-based testing procedures according to defined protocols and timelines Monitor and document usability issues, inconsistencies, and bugs during testing sessions Escalate and report issues clearly and promptly to development and QA teams- no technical troubleshooting or fixing required Maintain accurate records of test results and feedback using Jira and Jira X-ray Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough coverage of user scenarios Work independently to manage testing tasks and meet deadlines Required Qualifications : No minimum years of experience are specified; the ideal candidate will already possess relevant hands-on experience and demonstrate confidence working independently Proven experience conducting UX or user-based testing in a professional setting Proficiency in Jira and Jira X-ray for issue tracking and test management Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems and workflows Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and a user-focused mindset
