Job description
CNC Programmer & MachinistCNC Programmer & Machinist to operate and maintain CNC equipment in an additive manufacturing environment. In the position of CNC Programmer & Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, collaborating with AM Engineers, MasterCam CNC 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mill programming, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You will also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process. To ensure success as a CNC Programmer & Machinist, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Our need is for a top-class CNC Programmer & Machinist with proven problem-solving skills, innovative ideas to improve efficiency, providing quick and efficient solutions, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.CNC Programmer & Machinist Responsibilities:Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.CNC Programming, CNC Set-up and CNC running of CNC AM parts.Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing processpleting quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.Cleaning and maintaining the machine.Training co-workers on machine operation procedures, as needed.CNC Programmer & Machinist Requirements:High school diploma or GED.Exceptional problem-solving skills.5+ years previous work experience as a MasterCam CNC Programmer for 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mills.15 years previous work experience as a 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Mill Machinist.Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.Ability to collaborate with AM Engineers.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet required deadlines.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to walk throughout a manufacturing facility.Ability to work overtime when require.Must be a US Citizen (or currently permitted to work in the US) Must meet ITAR requirements
