We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax accounting, planning, and research. You will also be responsible for supervising and developing our tax staff, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver excellent quality of work. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a tax /

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting, including preparation, review, and submission of all federal, state, and local tax returns.

2. Conduct detailed tax research and planning to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and to identify opportunities for tax savings.

3. Supervise and develop the tax staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the highest level of performance and professional development.

4. Review tax returns prepared by the tax staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors on tax matters and audits.

6. Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company's tax policies and procedures are up-to-date.

7. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.

8. Provide expert tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders.

9. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and other tax-related documents.

10. Manage tax disputes and negotiations with tax authorities.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on tax planning and research.

3. Proven experience in supervising and developing staff.

4. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong leadership and team management skills.

7. High level of proficiency in tax software and other accounting software.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

11. High level of integrity and professionalism.
