Overview of the Senior Internal Auditor Role :
- The Sr. Auditor will work effectively with team members
- The Sr. Auditor will build strong client relationships by keeping an open line of communication
- The Sr. Auditor will provide mentorship and direction to entry level staff
- The Sr. Auditor will research technical accounting as needed and work independently on less complex projects
- Must be able to work effectively with team members
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Internal Auditor Role :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of recent public accounting and auditing
- CPA required
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Self-starter, with strong organizational skills, able to work independently and solution-oriented
- Government experience a plus
