- This is an opening in the Inpatient unit at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton facility
- This is a Full-time Days position 8a-5 : 00p includes weekend , holiday, and on-call rotation.

The APRN's Essential Duties Are :
To ensure that patients within community facilities are provided with advanced clinical judgment and decision making based on expert knowledge and skill in assessment, diagnosis, planning and management of symptoms of life-limiting progressive illness in a manner that is consistent with the scope and standards of Hospice and Palliative Nursing Practice.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Nursing of Science with five years clinical experience and certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the required specialty field.Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred and will be made available to Ohio's Hospice employees who wish to obtain certification.Prescriptive Authority - preferredRegistered Nurse, State of OhioEligible to maintain adequate malpractice coverageValid driver's license (Safe Driving Record)State Minimum Automobile insuranceCPR certification cardObtain and maintain hospital privileges in good standingComputer skills (Allscripts, Word, Excel, ability to work with variety of graphsBenefits & Perks : your health and happiness matters!
