Immediate openings for Caregivers!

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking reliable and coachable Caregivers to join our dynamic team, making a significant difference in the comfort of our client's homes.

We have immediate part time and full time caregiver positions available with flexible hours and routine schedules in Volusia County!

Expected Hours : 20-40 hours per week

    • Responsibilities and Duties :

    Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to) :

  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
  • Ambulation / Transfers
  • Eating
  • Dressing / Shaving
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to) :
  • Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors
  • Doing dishes
  • Changing bed linens, doing laundry
  • Cleaning bathroom
  • Assist the client with problem solving and supportive activities (which could include but are not limited to) :
  • Medication reminders
  • Encouraging exercises
  • Cooking meals
  • Understanding dementia care
  • Companionship

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • Must have a current (in-person) CPR certificate
  • Eligible status on Level II Fingerprint background in Health Care
  • One year of experience is preferred as a Caregiver / Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • The ability to pass a personal care written and competency exam
