Service advisors identify the need for, sells, and schedules service work.
Responsibilities
- Initiate automotive service and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests
- Contacting your guests twice per day
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
- Develop estimates.
- Write repair orders.
- Serve as a communicator and Liaison between guests and Technicians.
- Ensure customer needs are understood by Technicians.
- Ensure needs and recommended services / repairs are understood by your guests.
- Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend service to clients, identify repeat repairs for expeditious conclusion in customer’s best interests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid and clean Driver’s License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function as part of a team and work independently
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Experience in customer service
- Professional personal appearance
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards
