Geriatrics opening in Jonesboro, AR70 miles to Memphis TN; 100 miles to Little Rock, ARService area of 100,000 peopleFull time, permanent opening- Senior Health Clinic physicians typically see 7-8 patients per half clinic day session. - New patient appointments are 40 minutes for the physician. - Established patient visits are 30 minutes. - Acute visits are 20 minutes. - Physicians are likely to never see more than 15-16 patients per day depending on the appointment type.- After hours call is shared by 6 providers making the rotation roughly q 6 weeks. - After hours call is phone call only as the hospitalist service covers all inpatients. - During a one week call rotation (Monday-Monday), there are approximately 20 after hours calls. - Providers get a post call day the Monday after their week on call.- Senior Health Clinic utilizes an interdisciplinary team including a full time social worker to meet the needs of the older population.- There is a patient base of approximately 1200. - There are 2 geriatricians as well as 2 APRNs.Location : Located in the thriving downtown area of Jonesboro, Arkansas, our goal is service through regional health care and we are truly is the regional health care provider.
