Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements : Associates Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Certifications Requirements : BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
  • Experience Requirements : 6+ months of RN experience; PACU, preop, postop, or critical care experience preferred
  • Other Requirements : TN RN License, ability to lift / move up to 30 lbs regularly, strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, individualized nursing care to patients in preoperative and postoperative settings.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional status on admission and post-surgery.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessment data.
  • Monitor patients for early signs of complications and provide immediate, appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective care throughout the perioperative process.
