CNC Programmer

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a CNC Programmer for a long-term, day shift role with a manufacturing company located in Beaverton, OR. The person in this position will program and set-up CNC mills and lathes to produce precision sheet metal parts.

PAY : $37-$45 / hr

CNC Programmer Responsibilities :

Develop and write programs for CNC machines using CAD software based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, tools, and programs needed for each job.

Operate CNC machines to execute machining tasks with precision and efficiency.

Conduct regular checks to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling, and setup sheets.

Work a standard schedule of 5AM-3 : 30PM, Monday through Thursday. Flexibility to work occasional over time on Fridays and / or Saturdays during high production.

CNC Programmer Qualifications :

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand part dimensions and tolerances.

Proficiency in programming CNC machines using CAD software (e.g., Mastercam, Solidwork).

Experience in setting up CNC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding.

Strong understanding of quality control processes to ensure precision and accuracy in machining operations.

Capability to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions to optimize production efficiency.

Vocational training or certification in CNC machining or related field.

Knowledge of G-code programming language.

Strong math skills
