Job descriptionFunction as an independent provider within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting Manage comprehensive patient care, including new consultations and follow-up appointments Counsel and educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and symptom management Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in electronic medical records Demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and strong problem-solving skills Communicate effectively and maintain professionalism at all times At least one year of Hematology / Oncology experience preferred; strong candidates with a passion for the field will be considered Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Must hold a valid and unrestricted California PA license Current National Board Certification (e.g., PA-C) Current BLS certification required Furnishing license required DEA license must be obtained within 3 months of starting Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in California beginning Nov 17, 2025. This is a 260-day contract working day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care to both new and established patients as part of a collaborative team.
