Description : Responsibilities :
1. Assemble test troubleshoot electrical / mechanical machines and / or computer systems.
2. Use written procedures and technical drawings as needed.
3. Gather information and record it into internal computer systems.
4. Use tools and test equipment provided (e.g. cordless screwdrivers torque wrenches DVM s).
5. Some positions may handle low levels of radioactivity occasionally.
Required skills or experience :
1. Ability to learn and apply new technical skills.
2. Ability to read and follow procedures.
3. Ability to accurately log data into computer systems or onto paper.
4. Ability to work in a team setting.
5. Ability to lift 50lbs from time to time.
Preferred skills or experience :
1. Working knowledge of hand tools (e.g. mechanical or electric torque wrenches).
2. Working knowledge of electrical test equipment (e.g. DVM Ground Bond Testers).
3. Ability to read technical drawings (e.g. mechanical wiring diagrams).
4. Ability to load software onto different types of computer systems.
5. Ability to work 1st shift.
6. Ability to work overtime intermittently (e.g. weekdays or Saturdays).
7. Some post high school education (e.g. mechatronics certification AS or BS in a technical field).
8. Work experience in a technical field.
