Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST)

Project Genesis, Inc. is currently seeking staff to deliver services as Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) within our Acquired Brain Injury Program.

Work one-on-one with individuals in Hartford county to help improve their ability to live independently in the community. Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization in accordance with the client’s service plan.

Requirements :

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• 2 years experience working with ABI with High School Diploma or Equivalent OR 1 year experience working with ABI with Bachelor's degree.

Opportunities Available :

Hartford - ILST, Full Time, 1st Shift, Thursdays-Monday 8a-4p.

Bristol- ILST, Part Time, 1st shift, Friday and Saturday 8am-4pm (16 hours).

Bristol- ILST, Part Time, 2nd shift, Thursdays-Sundays 4-10pm (18 hours).

South Windsor- ILST, Part Time, 2nd shift, Mondays-Wednesdays and Saturdays 3pm-6pm (12 hours).

South Windsor- ILST, Per Diem, Mondays-Wednesdays 3pm-6pm.

South Windsor-ILST, Per Diem Thursdays 9am to 5pm and Fridays and Saturdays 3pm-6pm.

Pay : $18.00 per hour.
