Sterile Processing Technician. Decontamination of all instrumentation utilized in surgery, inspection, packaging and sterilization of instrument trays. Monitoring of sterilization parameters to ensure sterility of all instruments utilized in surgery. Regular testing and cleaning of sterilization equipment. Vital role in preventing surgical site infections and integral team member in the surgical services department.
