Shift Type : Nights

Shift Times : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend, some holidays

On Call Requirements : None

Job Summary :

Seeking experienced Pediatric ED RNs for night shifts. Must have majority of experience in Pediatric Emergency Department ; Adult ED experience is a plus. Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and EPIC EMR experience preferred. Strong triage skills required, must be formally triage trained.

Qualifications :

Current New York State RN license

BLS certification (current, with ability to recertify)

Minimum 2 years recent Pediatric ED experience in an acute care facility of similar size / level; combined Adult / Peds ED only experience not eligible

Experience in hospitals equal to or greater than size / trauma level preferred

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties :

Perform the majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision

Conduct accurate nursing assessments in acute care pediatric emergency setting

Apply triage knowledge and skills to prioritize care effectively
