    Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.

    Job Summary :

    The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the organization to patients visiting for laboratory services. This role requires a professional, empathetic, and detail-oriented individual who can perform quality blood specimen collections while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The PSR I is responsible for maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance while upholding the highest standards of service and care.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform specimen collection and processing duties accurately and efficiently in accordance with clinical and forensic collection procedures .
  • Verify patient identification and labeling accuracy, ensuring documentation completeness.
  • Maintain organized records, logs, and quality documentation per company and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service , creating a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace in compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Follow established company policies, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support additional patient service centers or collection sites when needed.
  • Required Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred .
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in keyboard / data entry systems.
  • Experience collecting specimens from pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Required Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification required in Washington.
  • Required Skills :

  • Strong phlebotomy skills and clinical accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with laboratory data systems and patient scheduling tools.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and patient-centered care.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
