Associate Veterinarian - Multiple sites

With the launch of our new veterinary practices, we are looking for a full-time Floating Associate Veterinarian to join our Healthcare Practice Team practicing at multiple locations in SE Florida. As a clinical team member, you'll work in a practice crafted from the ground up by veterinarians, equipped with advanced equipment and purpose-built technology so that you can practice your best medicine and focus on patient and pet parent care. What You'll Do :

• Empower team to deliver an unparalleled client experience.
• Develop a rapport with clients and resolve their needs and wishes.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic / medical / surgical / dental procedures in a way that will deliver quality care while minimizing stress and discomfort of patients.
• Has mastered medical skills and perform basic surgery.
• Explain physical examination findings and communicate a diagnosis of the pet's condition; generate and present a treatment plan for the pet to the client.
• Educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products.
• Maintain client / patient medical / surgical records and make certain all logs are kept up to date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.
• Staying current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attend continuing education meetings.
• Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care.
• Positively represents the clinic in the professional community and to the public.
• Support Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants issues as needed.
• Participation in self-development courses along with Chewy Vet Care required compliance training.
• Perform related duties and assignments by management.
• Oversee operating, safety, and compliance procedures as required by applicable law and Chewy Vet Care processes and policies.
• Position may require some travel.
