Position description

Temporary positions are anticipated for instructors to teach courses in areas such as Animal Ethics, Animal Behavior, Animal Genetics & Breeding, Aquaculture, Introductory Animal Science, Molecular Biology Laboratory Techniques.

A list of the courses that may be available during 2025 - 2026 academic year are included. It is possible that courses may be added to or deleted from this list as the year progresses.

• ANG 111 - Molecular Biology Laboratory Techniques

Appointment Dates

Several appointments are made each year. The number of courses assigned for each appointment may vary depending on type of course and percentage of appointment. Service dates are :

Fall Quarter 2025 : September 22 - December 12

Winter Quarter 2026 : January 2 - March 20

Spring Quarter 2026 : March 26 - June 11

Reappointment is possible upon demonstrated competence and based on established criteria.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach one or more lecture courses in the Animal Science major. Teaching may also involve special observational projects or guest speakers.
