Job description

Laser Machine Operator – 1st Shift 📍 Location :

  • Waukegan / Gurnee Area ⏰ Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 5 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM 💲 Pay : $17 – $25 / hour (based on experience) ✨ Full Benefits Package 🌐 Bilingual (Spanish) preferred 🔎 Ludlow uses E-Verify to confirm work eligibility in the U.S.
  • Ludlow is looking for an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our team.
  • In this role, you’ll be responsible for the setup and operation of laser cutting machines to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

What You’ll Do :

  • Set up machines, including program retrieval, selecting gases, nozzles, and materials.
  • Operate laser cutting machines to meet print requirements.
  • Perform proper startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Diagnose and correct machine issues as they arise.
  • Use lift trucks to load / unload materials.
  • Monitor part quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance.
  • Record production quantities into ERP system.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • 3–5 years of laser machine operation experience. 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating lift trucks.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to read calipers, hand tools, and interpret technical documents.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
