Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, draping patients, handing instruments, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, inventorying and ordering medical supplies, operating diagnostic equipment, giving injections, performing routine laboratory tests, scheduling appointments, receiving money, keeping records, performing secretarial tasks, completing insurance forms, and other duties as assigned.
