Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for leadership? Our dynamic team is seeking a Permanent Controller to take charge of our accounting and finance operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization within the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our financial systems, including cost accounting, Construction WIP, and monthly AIA billing.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring they comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.

2. Managing and coordinating activities related to Construction WIP and cost accounting.

3. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly AIA billing.

4. Developing and implementing financial control procedures and systems.

5. Evaluating and managing risk, conducting audits, and liaising with internal and external auditors.

6. Supervising a team of financial staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and development.

7. Collaborating with the management team to set budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost-reduction strategies.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in finance and a detail-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have :

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA will be highly regarded.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting and Finance industry, with a focus on Construction WIP, cost accounting, and monthly AIA billing.

3. Proven experience in leading a team and managing financial systems and budgets.

4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.

5. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.

6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

7. High level of integrity, with a commitment to uphold the company's financial policies and regulatory standards.
