We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our established company in Skokie, Illinois. As the CFO, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. If you are a highly organized professional with a strong background in finance working in the skilled nursing industry with multistate experience, we want to hear from you. A relocation package is available for the selected candidate.

What You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation)
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial management role in the skilled nursing industry
  • Strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Multistate experience with mid to large size SNF company (70+ locations)

What the Role Entails :

  • Oversee financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue growth
  • Lead financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance evaluation to drive informed decision-making
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders
  • Manage the year-end audit process and ensure timely completion
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals
