Project Coordinator

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support large-scale renewable energy construction projects. This role functions as an Assistant Project Manager, working closely with project leadership to ensure successful execution across multiple high-value infrastructure projects. Location: Amarillo, Texas 79101 (candidates within 50 miles). This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in utility-scale wind energy construction while contributing to impactful, complex builds. The position includes a mix of pre-construction planning and on-site coordination during active construction phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in the execution of large construction projects
  • Participate in pre-construction activities, including drawing reviews and design discussions
  • Attend and contribute to design, planning, and construction meetings
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as materials, sourcing, and project management
  • Provide on-site oversight during construction, ensuring project alignment and issue resolution
  • Monitor day-to-day construction activities and assist with problem-solving in real time
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Travel between nearby project sites as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in project coordination, project management, or construction support roles
  • Hands-on experience working on construction sites or supporting field operations
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of project lifecycle from planning through execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in utility, energy, or industrial construction projects
  • Background in wind energy or turbine-related work
  • Engineering degree or technical background (not required)
  • PMP certification or progress toward certification
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or utility projects
