Job Description

The Operations Technician works with the Service Center management team by providing operational support to ensure successful coordination and support of our team members as well as our production goals

Job Responsibilities :

  • Maintain shift records to include production, shipping, receiving, quality, food safety etc.
  • In depth understanding of shipping process matching PO numbers to orders, working with drivers to take correct loads, making BOL's
  • Confirm proper completion of BOL and transportation paperwork and update into Tosca's shipping system
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors, send, and receive mail packages, schedule and coordinate meetings, lunches / deliveries, and other service center events
  • Manage files, maintain hard copy and electronic files
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, and office keys
  • Prepare business correspondences, mail, scan, or fax documents
  • Maintain forms for the company and post materials on bulletin board
  • Coordinate with service center supervisors to; communicate any special loads or shipments needed, meet out bound shipping goals and report any inventory concerns to Tosca Customer Service / Transportation
  • Communicate with Tosca customer service and transportation companies to create a schedule for daily pickup and delivery
  • Forklift operation experience / willingness to be trained due to occasional need for timely shipment processing
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required within the service center
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of experience in a plant / office role
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through are a must
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work with confidential information
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work occasional flexible hours and over time based on company / volume needs
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and comprehending basic English is required

Work Schedule

Work Schedule for 2nd Shift is 3 : 00 PM-11 : 00 PM

  • Training will be on 1st Shift 7 : 00 AM-3 : 00 PM for at least 1 week.
