Sparks Group in collaboration with a Fortune 500 consulting company is searching for a skilled Contract Manager. The Manager will provide assistance to federal clients and internal teams on contract management and compliance matters.

They will be responsible for tracking and monitoring changes to contracts, maintaining documentation, managing correspondence and coordinating between internal and external teams.

Will have prior contracts administration in a government contracts environment. They will have advanced knowledge of acquisition regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and support all contract functions; handle cradle to grave development for assigned contracts, including coordination efforts with involved contributors
  • Review and negotiate contracts, amendments, change orders, client and vendor agreements; respond to inquiries regarding revisions
  • Evaluate all contracts to ensure compliance and adherence to all terms and requirements
  • Identify potential risks, provide recommendations, support the implementation of the solution
  • Responsible for communicating all updates and modifications between teams and project leads, and confirm all specifications are met for compliance purposes
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and vendors; Keep internal teams and stakeholders informed of progress
  • Assist senior management and escalate complex matters to ensure quick and efficient problem-solving
  • Provide contract management training to personnel when required

Qualifications / Background Profile :

  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required; Advanced degree preferred
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in contract management and working in a federal contracting setting; previous experience working with a federal entity is a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity with federal contracting regulations and policies; understanding of FAR / DFAR
  • Comprehensive Pre-award experience : NDA / TAs, proposal support and good negotiation skills
  • NCMA and / or IACCM, or other professional certifications are a plus
