Student Advising & Support Coordinator
Provide academic advising to Online MBA and certificate students on course sequencing, registration, and degree requirements.
Direct students to appropriate academic, administrative, and technical support.
Track student progress and follow up on academic concerns.
Generate reports to identify students in academic jeopardy and provide support to help them improve their standing.
Participate in orientation sessions for incoming students.
Review applications and make admissions decisions based on established program criteria.
Guide admitted students through onboarding and registration processes.
Assist with the hiring and onboarding academic coaches.
Match academic coaches with faculty and courses.
Serve as a point of contact for faculty and coaches regarding logistics and program operations.
Support course scheduling and monitor enrollment.
Provide registration assistance to new and continuing students, including course selection and resolving registration issues.
Assist with managing the departmental budget and coordinating professor payments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for executive speaker events, collaborating with speakers, faculty, and students to ensure effective coordination. Oversee all aspects of event logistics, communication, and scheduling.
Support additional MBA program events, including orientation and student engagement initiatives.
Collect data for program assessment, reports, and external rankings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required.
13 years of experience in higher education administration, student services, or program support preferred.
Strong organizational and written / verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Slate, Banner, NEST, Degree Works) preferred.
Salary Range : $25.00-$30.00 Hourly
