About the Role
As a Parts Coordinator , you’ll be the heartbeat of the repair process — ensuring every vehicle has the right parts, at the right time, in the right place. This role directly impacts shop efficiency, repair quality, and ultimately the customer experience.
In this role, you will :
Order OEM and aftermarket parts in line with repair orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying correctness and documenting discrepancies.Stage, label, and distribute parts to technicians in accordance with the production schedule.Manage supplemental part orders through CCC One and track vendor performance.Maintain accurate invoice and credit memo records, ensuring discounts are applied and margins are protected.Reconcile daily vendor reports, monitor price changes (PPI), and communicate updates to the team.Organize and maintain the parts department, keeping storage clean, efficient, and safe.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to guarantee reliable supply.This is a detail-driven, fast-paced role where precision and organization translate into customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required.1–3+ years of experience in automotive or collision parts coordination (preferred).Familiarity with management systems such as CCC One, Summit, or Repair Centre.Working knowledge of Mitchell, Audatex, and parts sourcing platforms (Car-Part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B) preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Physical ability to bend, crouch, lift 50+ lbs., and work in a busy shop environment.Customer-service orientation with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.I-CAR Registered or willingness to work toward Gold Class certification.Compensation & Benefits

The Parts Coordinator role is a stepping stone into leadership and operational positions. Team members in this role can grow into Estimator, Service Advisor, or Shop Management roles as they expand their technical knowledge and leadership skills.
