Location : Anchorage (ANC), Chicago (ORD), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), or Los Angeles (LAX)

Company : STS Technical Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repairs on company aircraft
  • Accomplish aircraft inspections in accordance with company and FAA procedures
  • Utilize electronic test equipment, voltage / amperage measuring tools, and navigation troubleshooting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical orders
  • Inspect and assist in maintenance of company equipment and tooling
  • Collaborate with contract maintenance personnel and communicate discrepancies to Maintenance Control
  • Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately before departure
  • Provide guidance to mechanics on advanced tasks and coordinate inspections / repairs
  • Organize daily tasks, coordinate tooling / materials, and support on-time aircraft departures
  • Perform manual and aircraft parts inventories as required
  • Follow all safety measures, shop practices, and cleanliness standards

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
  • Minimum 7+ years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing series preferred : 737, 777, 747-400, 747-800)
  • RII authorization required
  • Unrestricted engine run qualifications on 737, 777, and 747 aircraft
  • Bore scope qualified on CFM, Pratt & Whitney, or GE-90 engines
  • Formal training on advanced systems / avionics for 737, 777, and 747 aircraft
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel regularly for AOG recovery and projects

    • Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read, write, and fluently communicate in English
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and digital aircraft manuals
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in variable weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment as required
  • Willingness to work rotating schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
