Medicaid Paralegal

Overview

Cooper, Adel, Vu and Associates, L.P.A. is an established statewide Ohio estate planning and elder law firm. We are actively seeking a Medicaid Paralegal for our Anderson Township Office.

Responsibilities

The paralegal will work in our Medicaid planning department. The paralegal will work with attorneys, clients, and their families to help the clients navigate the Medicaid application process for seniors needing nursing home care. The paralegal will also provide support for attorneys working in our estate planning practice area as needed.

Qualifications

Although prior experience in Medicaid planning is not required, prior law experience will be useful. The successful paralegal will be empathetic, detailed oriented, a good communicator, and be able to quickly learn Medicaid rules and legal concepts.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 40 per week
