We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities :
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect data and track progress on behavioral goals
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent and effective care
- Support individuals in daily living activities (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions and progress
Experience :
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferredKnowledge of behavior management techniques and strategiesFamiliarity with medical terminology and medical documentationExperience in special education or related field is a plusUnderstanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is highly desirableAbility to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgroundsQualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferredCertification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is strongly preferredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelinesBenefits :
