PURPOSE :
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our growing electrical transformer manufacturing team. This role will play a key part in establishing our quality systems, documenting processes, and creating detailed work instructions to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to building a high-performing quality culture from the ground up.
DUTIES :
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation aligned with ISO and company standards.
- Create work instructions, process flow diagrams, and inspection checklists for production operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure processes are efficient, repeatable, and compliant.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformances.
- Support first article inspections (FAI), in-process audits, evaluations, and feedback.
- Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support training efforts for operations and technicians on new or updated work instructions and quality procedures.
- Assist in maintaining calibration records, inspection tools, and documentation control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role (electrical or heavy industrial experience ).Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality systems, and documentation practices.Strong understanding of root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).Experience developing work instructions and process documentation.Excellent communication, organization, and technical writing skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management tools (e.g., Minitab, QMS software, or similar).Additional Information :
