JOBDESCRIPTION :

  • California Gold Development is a leadingdeveloper based in Northern California who provides diverseservices and exceeds clients expectations in SingleTenant ProjectsShopping Centers and Medical Centers.
  • As wecontinue to grow we are seeking a talented Accountant to join theteam and contribute to the success.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist with AP & AR invoice processing;provide financial and accounting support for all constructionprojects.
  • Reconcile accounts and supportmanagement with financial data entry and reporting for meetings andmanagement decisions.
  • Provide administrativeassistance in creation of subcontractor contracts andcollection.
  • Work closely with the Director ofConstruction on the creation of monthly invoices to effectivelymanage QuickBooks.
  • Support the GeneralContracting division by providing accounting services and assistingin subcontractor commitments payments and lienservices.
  • Facilitate maintain and enforce costcontrol measures.
  • Create bills accurately andtimely within the portfolio and track to follow up on accountsreceivable invoices.
  • Coordinate and track lienreleases with multiple subcontractors on variousjobs.
  • Process subcontractor invoices andfacilitate payments in a timelymanner.
  • Summarize current financial status bycollecting information preparing balance sheets profit and lossstatements and other financialreports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions byauditing documents.
  • Reconcile financialdiscrepancies by collecting and analyzing accountinformation.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 38 years of construction accountingexperience
  • Strong Computer Skills includingExcel Microsoft Office andQuickBooks.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lienreleases
  • Strong Interpersonal and CommunicationSkills
  • Collaborative with team members at alllevels.
  • Attention to detail Time Management andData Entry Management.
  • Must be able to maintainfinancial security by following internalcontrols.
  • Must comply with federal state andlocal financial legal requirements by studying existing and newlegislation enforcing adherence to requirements and advisingmanagement on needed actions.
  • Must maintainconfidence and protect operations by keeping financial informationconfidential.

Schedule / Work site : Monday Friday office hours WorkLocation is in Sonora CA. Must be able to work onsite full time.Schedule is flexible for commuting 7am 4 : 30pm or 8am 5pm andpossibility to have a shorter lunch.

Candidatewill need to pass a background check and drug screenupon accepted offer.

Must Have :

Looking for a candidate who has experience with RFP (bidrequests from subcontractors) to review and vetcontracts.

Facilitate proposals gather companyinformation confirm insurance of company selected.

Track and file pre liens.

Filedocuments and contract execution for subcontractor paperwork andinvoices.

Ensure reporting isaccurate.

Track and bill for progress billingand confirming with bank / insurance the project is completed beforebilling.
