Patient Transporter Telemetry Unit

Mercy Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and energetic Patient Transporter (Mobility Assistant) to support our Telemetry Unit. In this hands-on role, you'll help patients maintain strength and mobility through safe ambulation and transport, contributing directly to improved recovery and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with walking and mobility exercises to promote independence and physical recovery.
• Safely transport patients within the hospital, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate professionally with nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by supporting stocking and light cleaning tasks.
• May assist with basic clerical duties to support unit flow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
