Now Hiring : Transportation Analyst / Dispatcher

Location : 1272 Providence Road, Secane, PA 19018

Service Area : Philadelphia & Surrounding Counties

Lync Transportation is a trusted provider of safe, compassionate transportation services throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. We proudly serve students, seniors, and individuals with special needs through our school and non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) programs. We are seeking a full-time Transportation Analyst / Dispatcher to support our daily operations, manage routing and scheduling, and ensure safe and efficient service for all passengers.

Hourly Pay : $19$20 / hr

Pay Schedule : Weekly / Non-Exempt

What Youll Do

  • Manage the routing and scheduling of students and passengers using a computerized system
  • Prepare and distribute route information, including special accommodations, to drivers
  • Maintain fleet information, vehicle schedules, routing updates, and electronic records
  • Communicate route changes promptly using company systems
  • Analyze and revise routes for safety, efficiency, and compliance
  • Conduct occasional ride-alongs to verify route accuracy and timing
  • Serve as a liaison with parents, school staff, contractors, and the public
  • Maintain records of mileage, passengers, and expenses for reporting and invoicing
  • Dispatch calls to vehicles, monitor on-time performance, and support drivers and attendants
  • Handle phone and radio traffic, providing real-time solutions to issues
  • Serve as a backup driver when needed

    • What Were Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in routing and dispatching (school transportation or medical / non-medical passenger transport preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Philadelphia and the surrounding counties geography
  • Familiarity with PennDOT rules and local / state student transportation policies
  • Experience with computerized routing and scheduling systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Skilled with two-way radio / dispatch equipment, computers, and telematics

  • National Criminal Background Check
