Pay Rate : $55,000-$80,000 per year based on experience (12 weeks off)
Job Summary
Our busy multi-season rustic lodge and lake resort, featuring restored cabins, a campground, and marina is seeking a hard working and self-motivated Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the restaurant industry, has previous kitchen experience, and would enjoy the creative independence of running their own kitchen. The Head Chef will manage the kitchen, develop recipes and menus, and elevate the food experience in our upgraded lodge with a brand new kitchen . This position requires the ability to prepare and oversee breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes from pancakes and burgers to multi-course fine dining experiences. ‘Holiday’ meals should become a resort ‘signature trademark’.
The ideal candidate for this position is creative, enthusiastic, passionate about food and driven to ‘exceed customer expectations’ while ensuring our guests enjoy a quality, unsurpassed time with us. Those with previous industry experience, knowledge of American Cuisine and a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude are encouraged to apply. Must be willing to work in a more remote lake area approximately 30 minutes from Bend, OR.
