Patient Service Representative Full-Time

Granger Medical Clinic is looking for an upbeat, friendly, and hardworking team member who excels at staying organized and multitasking to join our PSR team at the front desk of Riverton Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Sports Medicine.

The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and above all else, compassionate. Receptionists work closely with patients, physicians, and support staff to ensure the highest level of care. As the first point of contact for patients, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to creating a positive experience.

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Typing and keyboarding proficiency
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working with people
  • Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English
  • Additional languages helpful; Spanish preferred

Essential Functions and Duties :

  • Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer telephones with professionalism and empathy
  • Schedule appointments in accordance with established procedures
  • Communicate professionallyboth verbally and in writingwith physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding appointment scheduling and other needs
  • Record all demographic information necessary to contact patients and / or bill insurance carriers for services provided
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Education and Experience :

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous medical billing or office experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

  • Sedentary work; requires lifting up to 10 lbs
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
  • Indoor, climate-controlled working conditions
