Our client, a national association, is seeking a Benefits Administrator / People Operations Associate to support their People Operations team

Candidate profile and qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources with at least 3 years of proven benefits administration experience
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS Systems (ideally Dayforce)
  • Soft Skills : Detail Oriented, Process Driven, Ability to Work Independently, Proactive
  • Education : Not Required but Highly Preferred

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

Assignment Summary : This assignment will primarily focus on benefit administration and management. It will also include components of talent acquisition, offboarding, and compensation work.

Essential Functions :

  • Manage day-to-day questions and requests for assistance associated with employee benefits, including the commuting benefit.
  • Administer benefits including enrollments, qualified life events, census, etc.
  • Run monthly and quarterly benefits reports.
  • Administer annual open enrollment process.
  • Manage an annual wellness fair hosting various benefit carriers and wellness providers in coordination with annual open enrollment.
  • Administer employee wellness benefit.
  • Administer parking reimbursement program.
  • Manage flexible spending (FSA) and dependent care accounts (DCA) in the HRIS, Dayforce.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Assist with payroll administration.
  • Assist with the completion of reference checks.
  • Assist with employee offboarding.
  • Create and compile analytical data upon request.
  • Oversight of the DC parking cashout law.
  • Audit and update (as necessary) employee contact information in Dayforce.
  • Complete ACA, EEO, and ERISA reports.
  • Administer annual sexual harassment training.
  • Complete compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Draft memos as needed.
  • Create presentations.
  • Assist with policy writing.
  • Other duties as assigned.
