Bluebird Staffing is hiring a Cath Lab Coder for a fully remote contract!

MUST HAVE CIRCC, RHIA / RHIT certifications

13 week Contract!

Fully Remote!

$35 / hr!!

Discipline- Contract Hospital Clinical Reimbursement Specialists

• Evaluates Cath lab notes and identifies the appropriate procedures charges / CPT codes / modifiers
• Identifies when documentation relevant to coding the procedure is missing, lacks specificity, or is inconsistent and communicates with physicians via EPIC in basket messaging to obtain the missing information.
• Applies regulatory requirements such as medical necessity policies as CPT codes are being selected
• Demonstrates an expert knowledge of hospital outpatient coding guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy / physiology, and payer specific coding guidelines.

Understands reimbursement methodology and public reporting of outcomes.

• 5 years coding- Cath lab Charging / Coding for diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Credential- CIRCC, RHIA / RHIT

Will NOT provide equipment for this role. The expectation is that each candidate will have their own device to log into the system with.
