Senior Fire Alarm Engineer P.E. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Commercial / government project experience.
  • Experience in value engineering and conceptual estimating.
  • Mentor and provide leadership and management to fire protection engineering department of 20+ people.
  • Responsible for quality and success of all work produced by the fire protection engineering department.
  • Develop realistic timelines, deliverables, and measures of success.
  • Coordinate plan reviews with field inspection activities to ensure the provisions of all applicable state and local fire safety laws, codes and regulations are enforced.
  • Coordinates activities with others involved in fabrication, operation, application, or installation.
  • Consistently demonstrates professional skills in structuring assigned activities, creativity, teamwork, communications, operational efficiencies, decision making, analyzing, and problem solving.

Senior Fire Alarm Engineer P.E. Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer, P.E.
  • NICET Certification.
  • 10 - 15 years in the Electrical Construction Industry.
  • 3 - 5 years in an equivalent position with experience in Senior Engineering management.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines accurately with the ability to prioritize work and manage task urgency.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills a requirement.
  • Experience working with Executive Teams and Leaders at companies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
